On November 4, Li Chuanyin, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People’s Congress and head of the Municipal Biomedical Industry Cluster, and Lu Yongming, vice chairman of the CPPCC, led a delegation to Gaoping Town, Huaxian County to conduct in-depth research on the development of the local dental medical device industry. The internal affairs and judicial committee of the Municipal People’s Congress and the relevant departments of the Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology also participated in the investigation.
The research team visited a number of enterprises including Henan Jianxing Medical Equipment Trading Co., Ltd., Henan Jian’an Medical Equipment Co., Ltd. and Henan Peilang Medical Equipment Co., Ltd. The core product manufacturing process, in-depth understanding of the current production and operation status, existing problems and development needs of each enterprise, and listened to the report on the overall development of the industrial park.
Li Chuanyin emphasized three points: first, optimize the industrial structure and strengthen investment promotion. It is necessary to give full play to the advantages of the existing sales network, increase investment promotion efforts, focus on the introduction of core production enterprises and leading projects with high technology content and high driving force, and enhance the overall competitiveness of the industry. Second, promote the integration of industry, education and research, and promote industrial upgrading. It is necessary to strengthen cooperation with universities and scientific research institutions, promote the research and development of high value-added products, and support enterprises to promote their products, technologies and standards to the domestic and even international markets. Third, improve the service mechanism and promote the coordinated development of the industry. A normalized communication mechanism between the government and enterprises should be established, and precise services should be provided, and the in-depth cooperation between Huaxian Dental Enterprises and the city’s biopharmaceutical enterprises in technology, talent, and market should be established, and resources sharing, complementary advantages and coordinated development should be realized.
