On November 4th, Li Chuanyin, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People’s Congress and head of the municipal biomedical industry cluster, and Lu Yongming, Vice Chairman of the Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, led a team to Gaoping Town, Huaxian County, to conduct in-depth research on the development of the dental medical device industry. Relevant officials from the Internal and Judicial Affairs Committee of the Municipal People’s Congress and the Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology participated in the research.
The research team visited several companies, including Henan Jianxing Medical Device Trading Co., Ltd., Henan Jian’an Medical Device Co., Ltd., and Henan Peilang Medical Device Co., Ltd., to inspect the core product manufacturing processes, gain a detailed understanding of the companies’ current production and operation status, existing problems, and development needs, and receive a report on the overall development of the industrial park.
Li Chuanyin emphasized three key points: First, optimize the industrial structure and strengthen investment attraction. Leveraging existing sales network advantages, efforts should be intensified to attract investment, focusing on introducing core production enterprises and leading projects with high technological content and strong driving force to enhance the overall competitiveness of the industry. Second, promote the integration of industry, academia, and research to facilitate industrial upgrading. Cooperation with universities and research institutions should be strengthened to promote the research and development of high value-added products and support enterprises in promoting their products, technologies, and standards to national and even global markets. Third, improve service mechanisms to promote coordinated development. A regular government-enterprise communication mechanism should be established to provide precise services and promote in-depth cooperation between dental enterprises in Huaxian County and biopharmaceutical enterprises throughout the city in terms of technology, talent, and markets, achieving resource sharing, complementary advantages, and coordinated development.
